Exciting news! Now, transferring funds between your personal HNB/EPB accounts and accounts you hold at other financial institutions is as easy as logging into Web Banking. Using our new Bank-to-Bank transfer service within Web Banking, you can now take even greater control over your finances. Best of all, there is no fee for this service!
Now, when you log into your Web Banking account, you will see a new tab near the top of the page for Bank-to-Bank transfers. To be able to transfer funds to/from your personal accounts at other institutions, you will need to first enroll your Web Banking account to allow the service, and specify which of your accounts are enabled to transfer between HNB/EPB and other institutions. The enrollment process is simple, however it takes a few days to complete the verification procedure in place for your protection. We recommend you begin setting up your accounts now to enable transfers so you may take advantage of it when you're ready to transfer funds. To begin the enrollment process, simply click on the Bank-to-Bank transfer tab and you will be guided through the process. Once complete, you will be able to transfer funds between accounts simply by logging into Web Banking!
Enrolled customers are limited to three incoming and three outgoing transfers per day. Transfers to your account are limited to $250,000, and transfers to other accounts are limited to $100,000. Transfers initiated by 3:30 p.m. will be processed same-day. In most cases, if you initiate a transfer by 3:30, you will have same-day availability to your funds. Funds availability could be subject to differing processing procedures by your other financial institution, however, and therefore could take one to two days. Transfers may only be made between personal accounts; business accounts are not eligible for this service.
